The Strings International Music Festival
is a summer music program offering students from throughout the U.S.
and abroad the unique opportunity of spending 14 days immersed in classical
music education and performance with members of The Philadelphia Orchestra.The festival - open to students of all ages and skill
levels - includes private lessons, daily orchestra rehearsals, daily
music education courses,optional
daily chamber music rehearsals, solo performance and competition opportunities,
daily private practice time, faculty recitals and master classes featuring
prinicipal players and other members of The Philadelphia Orchestra,
and much, much more.The program is conducted on the exquisite, estate-like
grounds of Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

About The Strings International Music Festival
The Strings International Music Festival offers students of all ages and skill levels a unique opportunity to spend 14 days immersed in classical music education and performance. Featuring members of the world-renown Philadelphia Orchestra, the festival includes daily orchestra rehearsals, weekly or bi-weekly private lessons, daily music education courses such as music history, ear-training, and sight reading, optional daily chamber music rehearsals, solo performance opportunities, daily private practice time, faculty recitals and master classes featuring prinicipal players and other members of The Philadelphia Orchestra, weekly concerto competitions, an off-campus trip to a Philadelphia Orchestra performance at the Mann Center or Kimmel Center in Philaldelphia, and much, much more. The program is conducted on the exquisite, estate-like grounds of Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
